A Relatively Safe Carpeting Source

They have just started carrying 100% cotton carpet made with natural latex. 2 plyed Yard Heat Set. $63./sq.yd. That latex sounds a little like it might be a problem. For a small refundable charge, they will send samples.

(update 2/96) OK, the above information is still current PLUS they have added a woven cotton area rug available in sizes up to 4' x 6' ($400. for the 4 x 6), made in Portugal, unsprayed in transit, with no backing at all, no glue; a solid colored plush.
