This is from a study by the Environmental Working Group, for fruits and vegetables in the U.S.

Most pesticide contaminated:

    1. strawberries.
    2. bell peppers.
    3. spinach.
    4. domestic cherries.
    5. peaches.
    6. Mexican cantaloupes.
    7. celery.
    8. apples.
    9. apricots.
    10. green beans.
    11. Chilean grapes.
    12. cucumbers.

Least pesticide contaminated:

    1. Avocados.
    2. Sweet corn.
    3. Cauliflower.
    4. Bulb onions.
    5. Asparagus.
