The main mailing list, started in December, 1990. Over 400 subscribers, around 20 posts a day. This is the list for support and information about multiple chemical sensitivities, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, lupus, multiple sclerosis, porphyria, allergies, asthma, and other immune-related ailments. Most subscribers are people with one or more medical condition. Significant others, family, friends, medical professionals, activists, and other interested parties are welcome. Posts are archived.
An offshoot of the main list. You will get 1-5 posts per month, all from the listowner. This is the list to join if you can't handle the volume of the main list but still want to be notified of administrative issues, changes to the website, etc. If you belong to Immune, don't bother joining Immune-Admin, you will just get duplicates. Only Immune staff may post.
This is a special list that is not open to the public. It is for people who are survivors of childhood abuse, domestic violence, rape, or other forms of severe trauma (or their significant others). The list explores the intersections between emotional trauma and immune-system problems. There are around 40 subscribers and 10-20 posts per week. There are no archives. The list is unmoderated (posts are not screened). If you are not sure if you qualify for this list, please write me and ask.
This is a list to discuss a lowcarb vegetarian diet. You are welcome to join if you have an interest in both these things, though you don't have to be practicing either. People who eat moderate or high carb diets can use this list to find out more about lowcarb. Meat-eaters can join to get ideas for occasional vegetarian meals. All recipes and meal suggestions should be both vegetarian and lowcarb though, even if your diet is not. This is a not a place to debate the worth of lowcarb or vegetarianism. Posts are archived.
All of the Immune lists are now hosted at Sonic.net with software called Mailman. Subscription is very easy and you can do everything on the webpage (there will be an acknowledgement email).
