Review: Useful manual that looks into every area of creating a safe
kitchen and healthy food. Unfortunate bias towards lowfat eating (the
author quotes studies and makes many references to insulin causing
the problems fat are blamed for but she never takes the next step
in questioning the party line). I recommend this book strongly to
anyone wanting to move towards organic foods and a sustainable lifestyle
but isn't sure where to begin. For people well on their way, the book
is helpful, and gives hints you may not have thought of, but is not
as essential.
